The Role
As a Night Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will:
Carry out mechanical fault finding and repairs on production machinery and associated equipment.
Perform planned and preventative maintenance (PPM) to minimize downtime.
Diagnose and repair gearboxes, motors, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth plant operations.
Maintain compliance with health & safety standards and promote best practices.
Support plant layout changes and installations as required.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong mechanical bias with working knowledge of electrical systems.
Skilled in fault finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Relevant qualifications:
City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
