Ad hoc and pre-booked AM and PM shifts; shunter roles available
Fixed shift patterns Friday – Monday PM; ad hoc work available

The role of HGV Class 1 Driver:

Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and necessary paperwork in compliance with legal requirements
Following all safety protocols and procedures, including use of PPE and adherence to health and safety regulations

The ideal HGV Class 1 Driver:

Excellent communication skills
Ability to carry out vehicle checks and report defects correctly
Compliance with on-site health and safety requirements
Understanding of driver's hours and WTD legislation
Minimum 6 months previous experience
Valid HGV 1/C+E licence, DCPC, and Tacho cards
No more than 6 points, with no DD/DR code convictions
