Description

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Analyse financial data to provide insights and support strategic decisions.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Reconcile accounts and manage financial discrepancies.
Support audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
Collaborate with different departments to monitor costs and budgets.
Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

Studying towards a professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
Strong analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail.
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of the Manufacturing sector would be an advantage.
Excellent communication skills to work effectively with various teams.
Able to commute to our client's office in Burton-on-Trent. Job Offer

Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on the level of experience.
