Assistant Manager

We are looking to recruit a hands-on Assistant Manager to support the GM and run a well-established and very successful leisure/entertainment venue in Burton. You will work closely with the General Manager, setting the standard, motivating your team, and creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for every customer.

• Keep operations running smoothly
• Coach and develop your team to be the best they can be
• Drive multiple revenue streams including admissions, food and beverage and exclusive hire.
• Exciting Project Work that will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the venue, your fresh ideas and contributions will be valued.
• Work duty management shifts and a minimum of 1 weekend in 2.
• Deputise for the General Manager

• Operational Know-How - has strong attention to detail and experience overseeing daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently

• Leadership Experience - proven ability to motivate, support and guide a team in a customer focused high footfall leisure, hospitality or retail business.
• Commercial Awareness - experience in growing numerous income lines, understanding of KPIs, cost control, and ways to drive performance
• Great Communication Skills - confident engaging with guests and colleagues, resolving issues with a positive, solution-led approach

• A front of house approach and a hands‑on attitude - willing to roll up your sleeves

In addition to a competitive basic salary of £32k
