Key Stage 2 Teacher

Smile Education is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our valued partnerships within the Endeavour Multi Academy Trust
. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Burton-on-Trent on a part‑time basis (3 days per week).

This is a full class teacher role
, and the successful candidate will be expected to fully immerse themselves in all aspects of teaching and learning. Responsibilities will include:

• Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging Key Stage 2 lessons
• Taking full responsibility for the class during working days
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and leadership
• Supporting pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• Recent and relevant experience teaching Key Stage 2
• Availability to commit from January until February half term
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• A professional, proactive, and flexible approach

Interviews will take place in the first week of January
, with full safeguarding and compliance checks completed. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or a willingness to apply for a new DBS through Smile Education
.
