Transition and Progression Coordinator
Full Time, 37 hours per week
Fixed term until September 2028
Salary: £26,740 - £27,774
Town Centre Campus, Burton on Trent
We have an exciting opportunity to become a Transition and Progression Coordinator and join a fun and collaborative team who make a real difference to learner success and progression.
You will lead the planning,coordination and delivery of transition support for new and progressing learners, ensuring a positive learner journey from application through to successful completion.
Working closely with schools, curriculum teams, Additional Learning Support, parents/carersand external agencies, you will help learners engage,achieve and progress successfully.
What will you do?- Plan and deliver transition,induction and bridging activities
- Liaise with schools, PRUs and partner organisations
- Attend reviews and progression planning meetings
- Identify learners at risk and implement interventions
- Monitor attendance,retention and progress
- Provide guidance to learners and parents/carers
- Work with safeguarding,wellbeingand curriculum teams
- Experience in education, youthsupportor FE
- Understanding of post-16 transition and learner support
- Experience supporting SEND learners
- Strongorganisationaland IT skills
- Ability toanalysedata and target support effectively
Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
