32.5 hours a week supporting learners in Early Years - £17,694

26 hours a week supporting learners in Performing Arts - £14,155

32.5 hours a week supporting learners in Hair and Beauty - £17,694

19.5 hours a week supporting learners on Apprenticeships - £10,616

33 hours a week supporting learners in our Andrew Philips Unit for learners with high needs - £17,966

Working day is 09:00-16:30
Term Time, 36 weeks a year

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for caring, adaptable, and enthusiastic people to join our team as aLearning Support Assistant for Additional Needs Learners. Whether you’re experienced in supporting learners with SEND or looking to develop your skills in this area, we welcome your application.

You’ll be someone who:

  • Is passionate about helping learners achieve their full potential.
  • Can build positive relationships and communicate effectively with learners, staff, and support networks.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Is flexible and responsive to changing learner needs and college events.
  • Maintains a discreet and professional approach, respecting the dignity and privacy of learners.

Experience supporting individuals with SEND is a bonus but not a requirement. We’re committed to providing training and support to help you succeed in the role.

Please be aware the roles are fixed term until 31 August 2027 at which point they will be reviewed for the new academic year beginning 1 September 2027.

Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
