As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring all mechanical related maintenance and installation activities, including contract works, are reviewed and completed to an appropriate standard across the estate. You will work closely with technical and non‑technical colleagues, providing specialist mechanical knowledge and review processes, and help plan activities for directly employed labour and contractors.

• Review and ensure completion of all mechanical maintenance and installation activities, including contract works.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical teams to provide specialist mechanical knowledge and review.
• Plan and coordinate activities undertaken and completed by directly employed labour and contractors.
• Attend the hospital on‑call within an appropriate timeframe when called.
• Hold a valid driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
• Possess good interpersonal, communication, written and verbal IT skills.

• HNC / BTech or at least City & Guilds or NVQ 3 equivalent in Mechanical/Plant Engineering.

• Knowledge of relevant HTM's.
• Completed supervisory courses and recognized apprenticeship in a Mechanical Trade discipline.
• Current AP in various disciplines including HVAC, Water Hygiene and pressure system.
• Experience working in an acute health care environment.

• Hold a valid driving licence.
• Familiar with external CAFM systems.

£35,706.35 to £43,465.40 a year (salary inclusive a 15% Recruitment & Retention Premium)
