Supply Chain Expeditor

Overview

We are recruiting for two junior‑level Expeditors to join a busy and fast‑paced supply chain function within a well‑established engineering and manufacturing environment.

These positions are well suited to individuals with a background in purchasing, supply chain administration, or logistics coordination who are looking to move into a more operational role with greater responsibility and involvement in delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Expedite purchase orders to ensure on‑time delivery from suppliers
  • Proactively track and chase order progress to prevent delays
  • Communicate with suppliers to obtain updates and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate information within ERP systems
  • Work closely with procurement, planning, and operations teams
  • Identify risks to delivery schedules and elevate where required
  • Support the coordination and flow of materials across the business
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the supply chain
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration role
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communication skills, particularly when dealing with suppliers
  • Proactive approach with the ability to follow up and resolve issues
  • Good attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Experience using ERP systems (such as SAP or MRP systems) is desirable
  • This opportunity is open to relatively junior candidates who have a solid foundation and are looking to develop within a supply chain environment
