Administrator – Logistics / Customs

Location:

Burton upon Trent, DE14 1RZ

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Contract:

Full-time, Permanent

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join a growing logistics team based in Burton upon Trent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who is looking to develop their skills, gain specialist knowledge and build a long-term career within the logistics and customs industry.

The Role

Working closely with logistics teams and freight operators, you will support the management of customs processes across Europe.

You will be responsible for communicating with colleagues and customers daily, ensuring information is accurate, processes are followed and tasks are completed efficiently.

A good understanding of European geography would be highly beneficial, although full training and support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting logistics teams with administration tasks
  • Assisting with customs processes across Europe
  • Communicating with customers, colleagues and external partners
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Ensuring a high level of attention to detail across all tasks
  • Learning and developing knowledge within logistics and customs
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
  • Someone with some previous office administration experience (ideal but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • An interest in developing a career within logistics and customs
  • Good knowledge of European geography would be advantageous
What’s On Offer
