Electrical Supervisor

The Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, modification, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment across a range of customer sites and industries.

The role provides hands‑on leadership and technical guidance to electricians, ensuring all project activities — including new installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement works — are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The Electrical Supervisor will ensure full compliance with food industry standards, site procedures, and relevant electrical regulations, while driving quality, productivity, and best practice across all work streams.

• Order materials, manage small team of electricians, complete timesheets, conduct HSE audits, accident investigations and propose corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure that installation of electrical systems is correct to specification.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety, CDM principles, permit systems, and contractor control.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Produce Bill of Materials from drawings for estimating and purchasing.
• To undertake site surveys to aid costing or design.
• Contribute to cost reduction and value engineering on projects, where required.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, or similar health and safety qualifications are desirable.
• Strong practical electrical installation skills in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Competence in cable installation, glanding, termination, and panel wiring.
• Knowledge of industrial control systems, motors, drives, sensors, and basic instrumentation.
