Site Maintenance Assistant

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Contract: Full-Time | Temp to Perm after 12 weeks

We are currently recruiting for a Site Maintenance Assistant to join a well-established and growing operation in Hilton, South Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical background and basic electrical knowledge who enjoys practical, hands‑on work and takes pride in keeping facilities operating efficiently.

• Competitive pay rate of £17.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday working pattern with weekends free

• Carry out general maintenance and site upkeep activities
• Assist with mechanical repairs, servicing and equipment adjustments
• Perform basic electrical maintenance tasks where required
• Support preventative maintenance programmes
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues across the site
• Help ensure facilities and equipment remain safe, operational and compliant
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations

• Previous experience in a maintenance, engineering or mechanical role
• Good practical problem‑solving skills
• Basic electrical knowledge would be advantageous
• Reliable, proactive and able to work independently when required
• Committed to maintaining high health and safety standards
