We are a small, well-established construction company based in Burton upon Trent, specialising in a wide range of commercial refurbishment projects. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team.

This is a key role within the business, ideal for a proactive and commercially aware individual who is comfortable managing multiple projects and working closely with site teams, clients, and directors.

• Managing multiple refurbishment projects from pre-start through to completion.
• Overseeing Site Managers and supporting site teams.
• Programming works and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Maintaining strong client relationships and attending progress meetings.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Managing subcontractor performance and procurement.
• Monitoring costs, variations, and project profitability.
• Supporting tender reviews and pre-construction planning.

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within refurbishment or fit-out works.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, H&S, and contract management.
• Experience managing multiple live projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a small business environment.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Background in commercial refurbishments.
• SMSTS and relevant H&S qualifications.
