Days, nights and weekends, covering holidays and last‑minute cover.

Safeguard people, property and assets across multiple sites, adapting quickly to changing AI’s while maintaining high service standards.

• Follow all policies, site‑specific AI’s and legal guidelines.
• Adapt to AI changes and suggest service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, displaying correct licences and badges.

• Complete mandatory and competency‑based training.
• Engage in additional training for self‑improvement.
• Maintain up‑to‑date job knowledge using available technology and resources.
• Renew SIA licence 16 weeks before expiration.

• Identify and report Health & Safety hazards immediately.
• Remain vigilant to potential risks or suspicious activity.
• Demonstrate professionalism in all customer and colleague interactions.
• Log accurate incident notes and follow proper incident reporting process.
• Make timely check calls in line with AI’s.
• Liaise with emergency services and the Mitie Communication Centre as required.

• Prior security experience essential.
• Valid SIA licence required; SC clearance desirable.
• High attention to detail, excellent communication and proactive approach.
• Calm under pressure, reliable and decisive judgement.
