Class 1 Tramper

Major Recruitment are looking for experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers (HGV
1) on behalf of a well-established client in the building material sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for ongoing work, stable hours, and competitive pay. Delivery goods to customers 3 to 5 drops max per day , maybe some minimal handball needed. Good communication and a professional attitude is a must as you will be customer facing.

* Delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites

* Operating the HIAB safely and efficiently

* Tramping - nights out required (typically 4 per week - allowance paid)

* Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring load security

* Providing excellent customer service at delivery points

* Completing delivery paperwork and adhering to WTD rules

* Average 12 hour shifts

* Accrued Holiday - 28 (inc Bank Holidays)

To be considered for this role you must have:

* A valid CE Licence (HGV Class
1)

* DQC Card

* Digital Tachograph Card

* Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience

* Excellent communication skills

* No more than 6 points for minor offences (no IN, DD, DR endorsements)
