Class 1 Tramper - LTD

LTD Drivers Welcome - Major Recruitment are looking for experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers (HGV
1) on behalf of a well-established client in the building material sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for ongoing work, stable hours, and competitive pay. Delivery goods to customers 3 to 5 drops max per day , maybe some minimal handball needed. Good communication and a professional attitude is a must as you will be customer facing.

• Delivering building materials to commercial and residential sites
• Operating the HIAB safely and efficiently
• Tramping - nights out required (typically 4 per week - allowance paid)
• Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring load security
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
• Completing delivery paperwork and adhering to WTD rules
• Average 12 hour shifts
• Accrued Holiday - 28 (inc Bank Holidays)

To be considered for this role you must have:

• A valid CE Licence (HGV Class
  1)
• DQC Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience
• Excellent communication skills
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (no IN, DD, DR endorsements)
