HGV Class 1 Drivers
Location: Burton-on-Trent (DE14)
Start times require are between the following:
- 00:00-02:00
- 08:00-12:00
- 20:30-23:30
Pay Rates:
- Monday to Friday (Days): £16.87/hr
- Monday to Friday (Nights): £18.10/hr
- Saturday: £21.09/hr
- Sunday: £22.63/hr
- Minimum Pay: 9.6 hours per shift guaranteed
- Shifts: Flexible patterns available | Night work | Ongoing & Temp-to-Perm
What the role involves:
- Trunking to NDCs (no handball)
- Yard shunting work available
- Curtain-sided trailer work
- Coordinating with the transport team before and after shifts
- Load checks and paperwork completion
- Liaising with site security and warehouse staff
- Full compliance with tachograph and working time regulations
- Pre-assessment drug and alcohol screening required
