Pay Rate: £40,795 Grade: RCS O Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - Occasional flexibility / night cover Location: Burton-on-Trent, DE14 1PT

We're now looking for HGV Driver Trainer to provide expert training, assessments, and support to keep our transport operation safe, compliant, and efficient.

• Delivering practical and classroom‑based driver training, assessments, and coaching to our HGV drivers.
• Carrying out driver inductions, including vehicle familiarisation, safe operating procedures, and company standards.
• Monitoring driver performance and providing constructive feedback to support safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Completing training records, reports, and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborating with transport managers, planners, and HSQE teams to maintain high operational and safety standards across the site.

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
• Are committed to continuous learning and keeping their knowledge of legislation and best practice up to date
• Are confident working with a variety of driver experience levels, from newly qualified to highly seasoned
• Are organised and able to manage their time effectively across training, assessments, and admin
• Certification ie 'Train the Trainer' would be beneficial
