Logistics Op

What You Will Be Doing:

The Logistics Operator will be involved in inbound, Materials Movement and Dispatch related tasks. The role requires a working knowledge of SAP as well as current licences for Forklift Trucks and related handling equipment. The individual must be able to conduct manual handling of loads safely and is required to support cleaning tasks across the area. They will also support stock counting and continuous improvement of the logistics operation.

The role requires excellent communication and knowledge sharing between production and Planning Department.

• Reliability, team player and flexibility.
• Minimum GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent.
• Experience with warehouse systems such as SAP.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Must be able to work on a 3 or 4 shift rotating pattern with some weekend working.
• Must be flexible within pattern of shift work to accommodate factory shutdowns, training courses, etc.
• Valid FLT licence, some logistics experience and experience working in manufacturing in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Company.
