HGV Driver

Hours of Work: 7.30am and 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7:30am and 3:45pm Friday

We are seeking a dedicated HGV Driver to join our team in Burton, DE14 1PT
. The HGV Driver will deliver roof trusses to construction sites and builders’ merchants, ensuring safe, timely transport and unloading of roof trusses in line with health and safety guidelines.

• Focus on load security and highway laws, driving safely and lawfully while making deliveries.
• Drive efficiently to delivery destinations in reasonable time, working safely to achieve the expected daily number of deliveries.
• Supervise offload of goods at the destination yourself and/or with onsite personnel or with onsite personnel‑operated plant.
• Provide a prompt, polite, helpful, and professional service to customers, promoting a positive company image.

• Class 2 (Category
  
  C) rigid licence with DQC card and full Driver CPC is essential.
• Fork‑lift licence is an advantage.
• Hiab Experience Preferable But Not Essential.
• Excellent customer service skills.
