Logistics Op

Position: Logistics Op 100% 24/7 12hr
What You Will Be Doing:

The Logistics Operator will be involved in inbound, Materials Movement and Dispatch related tasks. The role requires a working knowledge of SAP as well as current licences for Forklift Trucks and related handling equipment. The individual must be able to conduct manual handling of loads safely and is required to support cleaning tasks across the area. They will also support stock counting and continuous improvement of the logistics operation.

The role requires excellent communication and knowledge sharing between production and Planning Department.

What You Will Bring:

Reliability, team player and flexibility. Min GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above or equivalent This will support recording of data, analysis of machine performance and general teamwork skills with an emphasis on good communication.

Experience with warehouse systems such as SAP. And use of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel. Must be able to work on a 3 or 4 shift rotating pattern with some weekend working.
· Must be flexible within pattern of shift work to accommodate factory shutdowns, training courses etc.

Valid FLT licence, some logistics experience and experience of working in manufacturing in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Company.
