Warehouse Packager Mid-States Bolt & Screw in Burton, MI

Base pay range: $13.00/hr – $13.00/hr.

Wages: $13.73 to start.

2nd shift – 3pm to 11:30pm M-F.

Job Summary:

Packagers are responsible for preparing products for shipment or sale by inspecting, labeling, and packaging them according to company and customer standards. This role ensures all items are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently to maintain quality and productivity goals.

• Inspect products for defects or damages before & during packaging.
• Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• Package finished products into boxes, containers, or pallets.
• Assemble, line and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using hand tools.
• Label packages with correct identification and shipping information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking of packaging materials.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or product issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse work (preferred but not required).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• This position and work environment will require walking, standing, and may occasionally involve exposure to high temperatures.
• May involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving machinery.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as per safety standards within organization.
