Class 2 Driver

Flexible People Ltd are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Cat

C) Drivers for multidrop deliveries of frozen and chilled food products to customer premises for our prestigious based in Warrington.

This is a physically demanding role, so it is best suited to drivers who are comfortable with manual handling, handballing and working in chilled and freezer environments.

This is a temp to perm position for the ideal candidate.

• * Pay rate: £20.67 per hour (including of holiday pay)
• The overtime rate is 27.68ph
• * Tuesday to Saturday
• * Scattered early start times depending on the daily route
• * Shifts typically last 8-10 hours
• * Multidrop deliveries of frozen and chilled food products
• * Significant handballing/manual handling, including moving full pallets into customer premises
• * Working regularly in chilled and freezer environments
• * Early starts and physically demanding shifts

This role requires a good level of fitness, a strong work ethic and a willingness to undertake regular manual handling.

• * Valid UK Class 2 (Cat
  
  C) licence
• * Valid CPC qualification
• * Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• * No more than 6 points on your driving licence
• * No DD, DR or NI convictions
• * Comfortable with heavy manual handling
• * Comfortable working in chilled and frozen environments
• * Reliable and physically fit
• * Appropriate PPE for the interview/assessment day
