Semi-Senior​/Senior Accountant

Working pattern: Office based, five days a week; part-time applications considered

Knight well Recruitment is recruiting for an Independent Accounting Firm with a friendly, family feel. The firm is looking for an accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and taking a practical approach to getting things done.

The position could suit a Semi-Senior, Senior Accountant.

The role

• Prepare year-end accounts for limited companies and unincorporated businesses.
• Handle business and personal tax compliance.
• Work directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries.
• Depending on your experience, assist with bookkeeping, VAT returns, management accounts and tax planning.

About you

• At least four years’ recent experience in a UK accountancy practice is essential.
• Experience preparing accounts and handling tax compliance.
• AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA or ACA, fully qualified, or qualified by experience: all will be considered.
• Strong communication, organisation and attention to detail.
• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to contribute across the practice.
• Able to work from the Radcliffe office and based within five miles of central Radcliffe.
