About Them:

They are a growing business, working with a diverse range of clients across the region. Their team provides proactive, hands-on support to businesses, helping them stay on top of their finances while building strong, long-term client relationships.

They’re now looking for a confident and experienced Bookkeeper to join the team.

The Role:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. You’ll work with businesses across a variety of sectors, providing accurate financial information and practical support to help them make informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out bookkeeping, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records

• Managing purchase and sales ledgers, processing invoices, payments, and expenses

• Completing bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations

• Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with current regulations

• Working on-site at client premises across the region to provide hands-on support

• Responding to client queries and building strong, professional relationships

• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver a joined-up advisory service

What they're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a bookkeeping role, ideally within a practice environment

• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and VAT

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• A proactive, client-focused attitude

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to regular travel to client sites
