Bodyshop Technician

Bodyshop Technician Bury - Temp to Perm Hours of work Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (42 hour week) Rate of pay is dependent on experience, ranging from £13.17 to £15.91 per hour. Higher rates are available for candidates with relevant bodyshop or vehicle repair experience.

The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Technician to join a busy automotive business based in Bury . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with vehicle repair and refurbishment experience looking to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-week temporary period. You will be responsible for restoring vehicles to a high standard, ensuring they are prepared for customer collection and resale.

Working within a fast-paced workshop environment, you'll carry out a range of cosmetic and body repairs while maintaining excellent quality standards.

Duties Include:

Carrying out minor bodywork repairs on cars and light vehicles Repairing scratches, dents, scuffs and paint damage Alloy wheel refurbishment and touch-up work Preparing panels and vehicles for painting Completing vehicle cosmetic repairs to a high standard Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and within agreed timescales Supporting workshop improvements and maintaining a clean, safe working area Conducting quality checks before vehicles leave the workshop

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience within a bodyshop, SMART repair or vehicle refurbishment environment Good knowledge of automotive repair techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work Full UK Driving Licence Ability to work in a busy workshop environment and meet deadlines Awareness of health and safety procedures What's In It For You?
