GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT - BURY, LANCASHIRE

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teaching Assistant, to join a lovely school in Bury. This is a perfect role for a Graduate considering applying for teacher training to obtain paid experience in a school. You will be supported by colleagues and management through the year.

The school is a specialist setting with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year. You don't need to have a particular subject specialism, but a willingness to step in to all lessons and a positive attitude are essential. Our school is particularly keen to secure a graduate who aspires to obtain QTS in the near future.

The position is open to both graduates and experienced teaching assistants / cover supervisors. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child‑related references
