Pay rate: £13.75 per hour

Hours:

Monday: 9:00am–2:30pm
Tuesday: 9:00am–3:30pm
Wednesday: 9:00am–3:30pm
Thursday: 9:00am–3:30pm
Friday: 9:00am–2:30pm
We are pleased to be advertising this vacancy on behalf of a lovely primary school in the BL0 area. The school is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 class from 23rd February until the end of the academic year, potentially being extended further onto a contract.

About the Role

Supporting children within a Year 4 class, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis when required
Assisting with classroom activities, behaviour management, and learning interventions
Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff
Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
Previous experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 (KS2)
A proactive, supportive, and nurturing approach
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
