Introduction
The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with St Mary's RC Primary School via the St Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Academy Trust to recruit a Teaching Assistant to provide additional support to small groups and individual students. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing, values‑led school community that places children’s wellbeing and development at the heart of everything it does.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant for a full‑time, long‑term role to start ASAP and to start the academic year with Our Lady and St Paul's RC Primary School. Both 1:1 support and general classroom assistance will be required.
The ideal candidate will:- Be kind, patient, and flexible, with a genuine passion for supporting children
- Have experience working with children with additional needs (desirable)
- Be confident working 1:1 and as part of a team
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Be reliable, proactive, and able to follow instructions while using initiative
- Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
