A welcoming and supportive primary school in Whitefield is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
* Primary Teacher
* to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis from September until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
About the Role
You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported, challenged, and motivated to succeed. The role may be based in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and the needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
* Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where required.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
* Support pupils with additional needs, working closely with the SENCO and support staff.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
* Uphold the school's behaviour policy and promote positive behaviour for learning.
* Fulfil all professional responsibilities in line with the Teachers' Standards.
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
* Has experience teaching in a UK primary school setting (placements accepted for ECTs).
* Has a strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
* Demonstrates confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
* Is passionate, flexible, and committed to raising attainment.
* Has the right to work in the UK and is available to work full-time from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
* Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
* Strong subject knowledge across the core curriculum.
