R 0 1 is the first of six modules towards the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). It covers the financial services industry, regulation, and ethics - giving you the foundational knowledge needed to begin your journey as an adviser . All offers are conditional on successfully completing the R 0 1 exam before your start date in January 2027.

Term 2 - Training to advise (2.5 months) Complete R 0 6 and learn the Mattioli Woods way through expert-led sessions covering our proposition, processes, and people.

Term 3 - One-to-one mentoring (6 months) Shadow a senior adviser, developing practical skills and understanding what excellent advice looks like in practice, while gradually taking on more responsibility. Successful completion of Term 3 marks your graduation from the Academy and your official start as a Mattioli Woods adviser. Beyond the Academy - your first year as an adviser Term 4 - Early career support (9 months) Your journey doesn't stop  your first nine months as a qualified adviser, you'll receive ongoing coaching, structured performance reflection, and dedicated support - giving you the confidence and commerciality to build a long-term career.
