Production Supervisor – Bury St Edmunds

My client are looking for a Production Supervisor. This is a full-time opportunity, working onsite in their site just outside Bury St Edmunds. They are looking for someone with experience working in a high output production environment. • Oversee and manage all technical aspects of the Lathe Area, including responsibility for all lathe machines and associated ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve component machining issues in collaboration with the Lathe team to ensure efficient production.
• Work closely with the Lathe Area Production Supervisor to support, motivate, and drive the department in achieving output and performance targets.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives, providing recommendations where feasible.

• Technically sound – experience operating lathe machines, ancillary equipment, and CNC machines.
• Experience working as part of a 24/7 production environment.
• Experience working in a high output production environment.
• Ability to solve technical issues, utilising mechanical knowledge.
• Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015).
