Operations - Skilled Operative - Process

Location: Kara Food service, Manchester

Shift: 12 hr shifts, working 4 out of 6 days, Sunday to Thursday, rotating days and nights

Kara Food service, part of Finsbury Food Group, specializes in high‑quality bakery products. We manufacture over 1 million baps and burger buns a day. We are looking for a Skilled Operative to join our Operations Team as part of the Production Crew.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets while maintaining high‑quality standards. Responsibilities include plant set‑up, ensuring efficiency at the start of production and during product changeovers, monitoring performance, adhering to technical specifications, quality assurance, and food safety policies, and supporting hygiene and housekeeping standards. You will maintain accurate M3 data, CCP checks, manage ingredients and toppings to reduce waste, lead the team to meet KPI’s, and prioritize health and safety.
