Ramsbottom Medical Practice is a well-established, forward-thinking GP practice serving approximately 8200 patients. We work as a multidisciplinary team and are committed to safe, high-quality patient care, good governance, and supporting staff wellbeing.
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team for 3 days per week
. This is a permanent position of 24 hours per week
Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (these days are non-negotiable). Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
- Independent patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Management of acute, urgent, and on-the-day presentations
- Assess and triage patients, including same day triage, and as appropriate provide definitive treatment
- Chronic disease management
- Prescribing in line with qualification and local guidelines
- Appropriate referral, escalation, and safety-netting
- Accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and the wider MDT
- There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels
- Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with extant legislation and to ensure SNOMED CT codes are used effectively
- Engage in robust governance systems and contribute to practice targets QOF, etc., complying with local and regional guidance
