- Manage the provision of family safeguarding social work services, including Child Protection, Children in Need, and Court processes, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and departmental policies.
- Provide a high-quality social work service to children in need and their families, including those requiring protection, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Oversee and support a dedicated team of social workers, guiding them to deliver excellent social care services.
- Evaluate and supervise social work practices to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient services.
- Collaborate with partner agencies and families to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- A recognised qualification in social work, such as CQSW, DIPSW, or BA HONS SW, or an equivalent.
- At least three years of post-qualifying experience in a field social work setting, with substantial experience in child protection.
