Driver – Bury St Edmunds

• Delivering and collecting plant equipment to and from customer sites, completing all paperwork accurately (damage checks, fuel levels, authorised signatures)
• Starting machines on‑site when requested and demonstrating equipment use where needed
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and safety
• Safely loading and unloading equipment using correct strapping and securing methods
• Tagging damaged machines on return and placing them in the correct depot area
• Maintaining a clean and organised vehicle and supporting general depot duties
• Following customer site Health & Safety rules and using digital tachographs in line with legislation

• Proven experience in a driving role, ideally delivering plant or tool equipment
• Full UK driving licence (towing experience and Digi Tacho card are desirable)
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete paperwork accurately
• A professional, friendly approach when dealing with customers and colleagues
