Management Accountant

An established and innovative manufacturing organisation is seeking a forward-thinking Management / Cost Accountant to join its on-site finance function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical accounting with operational insight, and who wants to play an active part in improving cost visibility and business performance.

About the Role

Working closely with production and operational teams, you will take ownership of producing accurate management accounts, analysing trends, supporting budgeting activities, and maintaining strong cost accounting processes. You will help the business understand key drivers, highlight opportunities for improvement, and contribute to informed decision-making at all levels.

Skills & Experience

* Recently Qualified or Finalist (ACCA/CIMA); part-qualified or QBE applicants with costing expertise are also encouraged

* Experience with in manufacturing, engineering, or a similar environment where cost control is essential

* Strong analytical ability with confidence in handling large data sets and using spreadsheets effectively

* Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving

* Ability to communicate clearly across departments and work both independently and as part of a team

* A mindset geared towards process improvement and efficiency
