The Assistant Management Accountant will play an important role in supporting the preparation of monthly management information, balance sheet reconciliations, cost centre reporting, intercompany accounting and treasury activities. The role will also provide support across a range of wider finance processes, including assisting the Accounts Payable team and supporting external audit requirements. Working as part of the wider Treatt Group finance function, this is a great opportunity to gain broad commercial finance experience and exposure to finance activities across both the Group’s UK and US businesses, while developing your skills and knowledge across a diverse range of accounting processes.

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• Assisting with the monthly preparation of UK and central cost centre management information.
• Assisting with the preparation and review of the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting process.
• Maintaining accurate and clean balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting Group treasury function, including cash and borrowings management, daily bank statement download, cashbook maintenance and reconciliation to the general ledger.
• Assisting Accounts Payable team with ad hoc requirements, such as supplier set up, verification and credit card reconciliations.
• Supporting Group accounting team on an ad hoc basis in areas such as capital expenditure, tax, external financial reports and in the audit process when required.
• Liaise with the Sales team to support sales order processing activities, including processing customer credit notes, consignment invoicing, and direct ship transactions.
• Provide general support to the Europe and North America Finance teams on ad hoc matters, as required.
• Support the team during the transition of current accounting practices to those of the Döhler Group.
