Salary: £12.36 per hour
Working Hours:
9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 37 hours per week
Our client, a leading Public Sector organisation, is looking for a proactive and reliable Admin Officer to join their team on a full‑time, temporary basis at HMCTS Bury St Edmunds. The successful candidate will work as part of a team in the Divorce unit department of the courts, being first point of contact for individuals involved in Divorce related court cases.

You'll receive two weeks of office‑based training to get you fully up to speed - Convenient location:
The office is located next to the bus station and is close to local amenities for your office days
- General administration
- Handling queries regarding hearings
- Providing updates on court activity via internal systems
- Opening and sorting post
- Data entry and processing court orders
- Answering telephone queries
- Taking payments over the phone
- Inputting petitions and case information
- Carrying case files across different floors
The successful candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment. You should have experience with data entry, and be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications.
You’ll need a keen eye for detail and a proven track record of working in a target‑driven, fast‑paced environment with a strong focus on accuracy.
