What you'll do at workMain
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to initial enquiries (within 48 hours) including initial discussion with prospective learners and employers where appropriate. Ensure up to date, accurate, information is given via telephone, face to face and email.
- Be responsible and manage input for all Apprenticeship vacancies on both the National Apprentice and West Suffolk College websites. Assist the team with any queries and be the main point of contact for the team.
- Support the Business Development Executives by planning, organising and co-ordinating Apprenticeship Pre-enrolment sessions for new Apprentices.
- Work with Employer Engagement lead on Talent Link & HE Project.
- Operate procedures to ensure that all student enquiries and applications, including continuing students are processed through all the stages of application, re-referring students where appropriate, in a timely and efficient manner and all communications are completed promptly.
- Use the College Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database as appropriate ensure employer and contact records are up to date. Use CRM as a marketing tool to advertise current apprenticeship vacancies.
- Participate in events across the College such as Open Events, Campus Tours and School Talks as appropriate.
- Carry out other administration as and when required which could include reports, data input, excel use etc.
- Liaise with the Marketing department to advertise apprenticeships via Social Media, produce leaflets and organise apprenticeship related events.
- Undertake training appropriate to the role.
- Contribute to the promotion and monitoring of equality and diversity across the College.
- Be responsible for own health and safety at work and comply with the College’s health and safety policy at all times.
- Adhere to the Risk Management Policy and notify the line manager of any identified risk.
- Undertake any other duties as directed by the Principal or by delegated authority.
