DETAILS

This is a hands-on role at the heart of the Firm, leading by example to ensure our clients receive an exceptional welcome and service every time they contact or visit us.

As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the Firm, providing guidance and support to the Front of House team and helping maintain the high standards we pride ourselves on.

About the Role

As our Client Care & Front of House Team Leader, you will be a key member of the team, combining excellent client care, administration and organisational skills with the ability to support and motivate others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a warm, professional welcome to clients and visitors.
  • Leading by example to deliver outstanding client service.
  • Ensuring telephone calls are answered promptly and professionally.
  • Handling enquiries efficiently, directing them to the appropriate person or taking accurate messages.
  • Supporting and coordinating Front of House team rota and activities to ensure consistent service standards.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post.
  • Scanning, printing and preparing documents.
  • Delivering post and documentation to the Post Office and other Firm offices as required.

  • Taking pride in keeping reception and office areas welcoming, organised and professional.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and service providers.
  • Providing occasional cover at other Suffolk offices when required.
  • Acting as a point of support and guidance for Front of House colleagues, helping to maintain an efficient and collaborative team environment.
What we’re looking for

To be successful in this role, you’ll be someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of tasks, and naturally leads by example.

You will have:

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing leadership role, reception, customer service or administrative role.
  • The confidence to support and guide colleagues while remaining a strong team player.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm under pressure.
  • A professional, approachable and friendly manner when dealing with clients and visitors.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • A full driving licence and access to your own transport, as travel between offices will be required on a regular basis.
Working arrangements
  • Full-time hours:
    Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
  • Own car essential
  • Travel across all offices (Bury St Edmunds, Sudbury, Framlingham and Halesworth)

This is an opportunity to play a central role within a supportive and professional team. You’ll have the chance to make a real impact on our clients’ experience while helping to shape and support our Front of House service across the Firm.

If you’re passionate about delivering excellent client care, enjoy working with people and are looking for a role where you can lead through example rather than management, we’d love to hear from you.

We are committed to recruiting on merit and suitability for every role, on the basis of qualifications and experience. All applications are considered fairly and equally regardless of sexual orientation, race, disability, religious beliefs, age and any other protected characteristic. We ensure equal opportunity at every stage of the recruitment process.
