Book Designer & Editor

We are looking for an experienced book designer who is also a capable editor and graphic designer.
The UK-based Wooden Books publishing house specialises in highly compressed, information-dense, pocket books. Our team consists entirely of strong all-rounders who can not only design a book but can also research and generate any graphics necessary for the subject and finally edit and sometimes even ghost-write the author's text to fit the available space. Ideally, you will be someone who is fluent in InDesign and Photoshop.

A native English speaker with good editorial senses, and a classical high-quality book designer. You will be an intelligent and interested person, capable of editing books on subjects as diverse as music, mathematics, comedy, economics, meditation, physics, and animism.
This is a part-time position, and you will be able to choose how many books you wish to work on in a year and the time frames in which you will complete them.
