We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our partner Secondary School. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential opportunities for Key Stage
5. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality Science lessons that challenge and engage students of all abilities.
• Lead safe and effective practical experiments that bring scientific theories to life in the classroom.
• Monitor student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to help learners achieve their predicted grades.
• Support Key Stage 4 students with GCSE preparation, focusing on exam techniques and core scientific principles.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters respect and a passion for STEM subjects.
• Contribute to the wider Science department through the sharing of best practices and participation in staff meetings.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A degree in a Science‑related subject (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
• Proven experience teaching Science across the secondary age range (KS3 and KS4).
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and current GCSE assessment criteria.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong rapport with students and colleagues.
• Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of all young people.
• Enhanced Child DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one.
