Hours: School hours, Monday–Friday

We are seeking a QTS-qualified teacher to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to pupils across the Bury St Edmunds area
.
This role is ideal for a passionate teacher who enjoys working with pupils individually, understands the importance of building confidence, and can adapt their teaching to meet different learning needs.
Your Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition sessions.
- Plan lessons in accordance with the UK National Curriculum
. - Identify individual learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Support pupils with their academic progress, confidence, and engagement.
- Set clear learning objectives and monitor progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate session records.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and school staff.
- Follow safeguarding, child protection, and professional standards at all times.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Strong knowledge of and experience delivering the UK Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage pupils on a 1:1 basis.
- A patient, supportive, and professional approach.
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- 1:1 teaching during school hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
