Teacher Active is looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Bury St Edmunds
.

No previous school or Teaching Assistant experience is required. We are particularly interested in people who are passionate about supporting children and young people and are looking to begin a career within education.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils with their learning both 1:1 and in small groups
  .
• Assist the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and independence.
• Provide additional support to pupils who may have SEND or additional needs
  .
• Help create a safe, positive and supportive learning environment.

You don't need previous school experience. We would love to hear from people with backgrounds in:

• Care or support work.
• Youth work or mentoring.
• Sports coaching.
• Nurseries or childcare.
• Healthcare or mental health support.
• Customer-facing roles with strong people skills.

Most importantly, you should be patient, reliable, confident and passionate about helping young people succeed
