Are you a passionate KS2 Primary Teacher looking for part-time work? We are looking for a teacher to work on Thursday and Friday in a Year 3/4 class, beginning in January.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Year 3/4 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Bury St Edmunds
.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for a part-time role working two days per week
- Thursday and Friday
. The position is due to begin in January 2027
, although there may be the opportunity to start sooner for the right candidate.

As the Year 3/4 Teacher
, you’ll take responsibility for the class on Thursdays and Fridays
, working closely with colleagues to provide consistency and continuity for pupils throughout the week.

You’ll deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, support pupils with differing needs and abilities, and create a positive classroom environment where children feel confident and motivated to learn.

You’ll work collaboratively with the wider teaching team to ensure learning is well planned and pupils continue to make good progress.

Typical school hours are approximately 8:15am-3:30pm
, with the role working Thursday and Friday each week
.

To be considered for this Year 3/4 Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (
  QTS
  ) in the UK
• Experience teaching within a primary school, ideally within Key Stage 2
• A confident and positive approach to classroom management
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
• A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with colleagues
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to complete the required clearance
• Two positive references covering your recent teaching experience
