The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will provide support and promote awareness and adoption of best practice by the Project Team and Subcontractors in relation to the project commercial plan and processes for work packages within the project from initiation to close-out.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the landmark West Suffolk Hospital Redevelopment Project, a key part of the UK Government's New Hospital Programme (NHP), helping to deliver a state of the art healthcare facility for future generations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in administering contractual terms and conditions for suppliers, consultants and sub- contractors
  • Support the assessment of EWN’s and compensation events
  • Support the change management process in conjunction with other functions
  • Raising consultant, supplier or contractor instructions as necessary for signature by approved parties
  • Receive and review monthly valuations from contractors and prepare recommendation for signature by the project manager and designer
  • Assist in the production of monthly reports on expenditure against package budgets
  • Assist in the regular production of cash flow forecast of expenditure for packages
Qualifications, Certifications and

Experience:
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Possess competent IT/Computing skills.
