The Opportunity

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a dynamic, commercially minded Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant who enjoys working closely with clients, influencing decision‑making, and moving beyond traditional compliance‑led accountancy.

The Role
You will take a key role managing a portfolio of clients and acting as a trusted adviser to business owners and senior stakeholders. The role combines technical expertise with commercial insight and leadership.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing and developing a portfolio of owner‑managed and growing businesses
Preparing and reviewing management accounts, forecasts, and budgets
Providing commercially focused advice and insights to support client decision‑making
Overseeing financial reporting, cashflow management, and KPI analysis
Supporting clients with growth, structuring, and strategic planning
Leading, mentoring, and developing junior team members
Driving continuous improvement and embracing modern systems and technology

About You
We are looking for an experienced accountant who is confident, proactive, and commercially astute.
You will ideally have:

A clear commercial mindset and the ability to see the “bigger picture”
Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
Experience using cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Quick Books, Sage)
A collaborative, hands‑on approach with strong leadership capability
An appetite for change and a genuine interest in modern, tech‑enabled finance
