Job Duties:

Providing high-quality care and support to patients in a healthcare setting
Assisting with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and dressing patients
Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
Assisting healthcare professionals with medical procedures
Ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Required Qualifications:

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
Driver with Access to a vehicle

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Experience:

Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant

Knowledge and

Skills:

Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Ability to follow instructions and protocols
Empathy and compassion towards patients
Basic IT skills

Preferred Qualifications:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

The Healthcare Assistant role involves working in a healthcare environment, which may include exposure to illnesses and medical procedures. The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting/moving patients. Part-Time hours are expected with potential for flexible shifts
