Abbots Green Academy is seeking a dedicated, proactive and reliable Caretaker to play a key role in maintaining our school environment.

We are looking for an individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to ensuring our premises are safe, secure, clean and well-presented for pupils, staff and visitors. You will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the school site, carrying out routine maintenance tasks, monitoring health and safety standards, and supporting the smooth operation of our facilities.

We are seeking someone with practical maintenance skills, good problem-solving abilities and a flexible, can-do attitude. You will be organised, dependable and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, maintenance or site management role would be advantageous, although full training will be provided where appropriate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role and takes satisfaction in making a positive contribution to the daily life of a successful and welcoming school. In return, Abbots Green Academy offers a supportive working environment, opportunities for professional development, and the chance to play a vital role in ensuring our pupils and staff have a safe and attractive place in which to learn and work.
